Multi Agent System Goals

چکیده
The definition of the intentional behaviour of a single agent can be simple and evident by using any of the well-known deliberative or hybrid agent architectures. However, the question of how to define the MAS intentional behaviour comes up. In this work we propose a formalization of MAS goals.

Modeling Lateral Communication in Holonic Multi Agent Systems
Agents, in a multi agent system, communicate with each other through the process of exchanging messages which is called dialogue. Multi agent organization is generally used to optimize agents’ communications. Holonic organization demonstrates a self-similar recursive and hierarchical structure in which each holon may include some other holons. In a holonic system, lateral communication occurs b...
متن کاملA multi Agent System Based on Modified Shifting Bottleneck and Search Techniques for Job Shop Scheduling Problems
This paper presents a multi agent system for the job shop scheduling problems. The proposed system consists of initial scheduling agent, search agents, and schedule management agent. In initial scheduling agent, a modified Shifting Bottleneck is proposed. That is, an effective heuristic approach and can generate a good solution in a low computational effort. In search agents, a hybrid search ap...
متن کاملDesign Considerations for Incorporating Flexible Workflow and Multi-Agent Interactions in Agent Societies
In this paper, we present our conception of a Flexible Agent Society (FAS), an extension of the Contractual Agent Society (CAS) idea. Essentially, a FAS is a distributed information system modeling an agent society, providing agents with the ability to collaborate in order to meet certain common goals. In a FAS, unlike the CAS, the agents themselves have control over the workflow processes and ...
متن کاملMulti-agent System Specification Using TCOZ
TCOZ is a specification language that combines the strengths of Object-Z and Timed CSP with the goal of specifying distributed systems containing objects that act independently and concurrently. Such goals are similar to the goals of the autonomous agent paradigm, in which agents are entities in an environment that act independently of one another, concurrently, and work proactively to achieve ...
متن کاملPlanning in multi-agent environment as inverted STRIPS planning
In multi-agent (multi-robot) environment each agent tries to achieve its own goal and it implies that in most cases the agent goals conflict. However, there exists a group of problems where it is possible to find a way to satisfy all goals even in conflict situations. Such problems can be modelled as a STRIPS system (for instance Block World environment). If STRIPS planning problem is invertibl...
